The fundamental belief at RR is to create designs that are interactive with the built environment, climate-responsive, earthy, functional, and promote the ideals of sustainable living. The nature of development in the region with the characteristics of Modern Design needs to be re-imagined, by emphasizing the sociocultural identity in design.

Landscape

The environment is the most impacting element in the design and shaping of architecture. It becomes much more important than ever to assess the influence of micro-climate on prospective development with the current state of our Urban Ecology. The landscape of the Arabian Cities is ever-transforming, especially in the current scheme of things, the surge of green-field planning, and the emergence of city-oriented projects to improve the environment and temperature in public spaces has emphasized the need for reducing the carbon impact. This creates a dire need for designers to experiment with the regional tree typology, engage with the building material sciences, and build through sustainable building techniques. 

For a firm, that has emerged out of the capital city of Riyadh, (that stands for meadows/gardens), we believe that a well-synchronized interplay of oasis, local stones and rocks, earthy architecture, and biophilic elements can nurture the character of a building design, streetscape or the urban landscape in public spaces. We envision our designs to contribute towards shaping environment-friendly architecture that impacts largely its immediate context and even the surrounding. 

We believe in a thorough climate analysis of the site, with a stage-wise approach towards building a character to the regional landscape, reflecting through the cultural features in the design. Also, with our deep research on tree typology, we tend to include the local species from the bio-diversity of Arabia, and include them in our design process, for well-tailored and responsive results.

Interior Design

Building designs and their efficiency largely depend on the space programming and planning of the interiors which not only gives a purpose to our designs but also gives a glimpse of the designer’s thought process and the kind of experiments they’re willing to offer. At RR, our effort is to continue to design, manage and plan with the most sustainable and evolving interior concepts such as living walls, earth walls, biophilic designs, and eco-friendly spaces. We further involve and build a collaboration with a number of craftsmen that work on reflecting the local Najdi character in the interiors. 

As we strongly believe, Modern interiors are not just limited to the use of contemporary and popular building materials, it further needs socially interactive spaces that maximize the potential utilized peripheries of the enclosed spaces. The design objective remains to introduce authentic interior components in the buildings that offer a sense of community to the people. 

Product Design

The products often reflect the nature and character of the individual and their preferences regarding the lifestyle they desire. We design as per the requirements and comprehensive analysis of our clients to offer the most suitable living experience. In the process, we also collaborate with a number of regional and international designers, that deal with the manufacturing of minor and major components of our daily-use furniture. However, we maintain the unique standards that resonate with our building or landscape designs, as user experience matters equally to us as it contributes to enhancing the overall experience of the user. 

The products we design are not just limited to residential or commercial design layouts, we further design large-scale mixed-use and hospitality projects, featuring clients from different economic strata and needs. At RR, our product designs are a result of innovative thinking, comfort-oriented planning, and a series of conversations to convert our thoughts into reality.

We do not just envision physical art pieces but are also striving to create digital art experiences in the public realm that can be showcased, nurtured, and celebrated. Our Art forms include paintings, sketches, scenic scenarios, nature-oriented art, and digital artworks.
